TFP was founded in 1992 as a specialist Interim Management practice providing expert input and advice to businesses, focusing primarily upon financial restructuring and turnarounds but extending to advising on shareholder exits and general financial problem solving.
The principal, Graham Potter (“GP") qualified as an ACA* in 1986 with Touche Ross (now Deloitte) and spent 3 years with Grant Thornton as Senior Manager in their Corporate Finance department. Graham graduated from Hull University in 1982 with a 2:1 B.Sc. Economics degree (with Honours). *Please see later under Legal Notices - Membership.
TFP restructuring and turnaround advice was pre Insolvency Practitioner stage with a focus very much on rescue and sustainable turnaround.
Current activity
TFP now focusses purely on providing a placement service to businesses. TFP itself does not provide any services to businesses other than the placement of the Interim Manager who will usually provide their services to the businesses as an employee.
